Lake Placid is thrilled to be putting together another great year of synchronized skating programs. We recognize that it takes a lot to be a synchronized skater - turns have to be proficient, spins have to be fast, heads have to be sharp AND it all has to be in synch!

This year we have put together two great programs for synchronized skaters at all levels to improve their skills and have a great time in the process.

Things to know before you register for our program:

Skaters will spend most of their day doing physical activity.  They spend 4-5 hours on the ice and have another 2-3 hours in off- ice activities EVERYDAY! They will be working hard and learning a lot while they are here.

We stay in dorm rooms that hold anywhere between 3-5 skaters.  Room configurations include bunk beds and there is a community bathroom on each floor of the dorms. No requests for bottom bunks or single bed can be made.

We have a NO electronic device policy during our synchro program, this includes cell phones, tablets, ipads, kindles, etc.  In the past we have found that electronic devices inhibit communication, limit the bonding of our team and make it more difficult to be away from home.  Campers will not be allowed to use counselor phones to call or text home. If there is an emergency parents will be contacted by the Camp Director immediately. There is no exception to this rule. Electronic devices that are found will be locked with the Camp Director until the end of the week.
